What can we learn from Gurdjieff and Ichazo that might have been "forgotten"?
In the original teachings of Gurdjieff and Ichazo the focus of the Enneagram was not so much typing and how close you are to one type over another. The focus was more of the complete beings we all are, and how we could integrate many elements of the Enneagram in our practical, relational and spiritual life. The teachings from those two gentlemen were very practical and Gurdjieff did one say that it is the friction between hard physical labor and your personality which is offering the insights for personal and spiritual development. So what might have been “forgotten” in the translation toward modern psychology, consumerism, effectiveness and faster and more profound changes in our lives?
