The reason why you should attend

Until now, most Enneagram training has focused on personal development and self-discovery. In other words, the blind type has been explored primarily in the context of self-awareness and growth. What has been missing is a systematic professional approach to the blind type, learning how to uncover resistance, reframe limiting narratives, and turn blind spots into resources in real coaching, teaching, and consulting contexts.

This training focuses on integrating the Enneagram into your professional practice. You will learn how to apply blind type knowledge with individuals, groups, and teams, and how to design your own exercises, curricula, and teaching stories that integrate this new dimension of the Enneagram. You will also deepen your own integration by exploring how your personal blind type influences the way you show up professionally.

The teacher

Flemming Christensen is your teacher at the training, and the design is based on his new book ”The Enneagram and why your blind type matters”. For more than two decades, Flemming has integrated different disciplines of psychology, philosophy, leader­ship, teamwork, relationships, and personal growth and develop­ment. He is the author of 18 books and has studied Executive Integral Leadership at Notre Dame University and Executive Coaching at Copenhagen Business School. He is currently writing his dissertation in Buddhist Studies at South Wales University. He is trained by the Enneagram Institute, New Ventures West, Immunity to Change, Strozzi Institute, Leadership Circle, and by professor emeritus Ole Fogh Kirkeby.

• You will learn a more precise and deeper understanding of how the blind type creates unconscious resistance. This is about uncovering the stories and defenses that block development and learning how to transform them into openings for growth.

• You will uncover new frameworks for dialogue and assessment. This is about using structured questioning, reflective tools, and safe assessments to help individuals, groups, and teams recognize and integrate their blind type patterns.

• You will be introduced to professional applications of blind type dynamics in collaboration, conflict, and leadership. This is about learning how blind types shape team roles, trust, and group resilience, and how to guide teams through these dynamics.

• You will understand how your own blind type impacts your professional role. This is about recognizing the ways your blind type colors your coaching, teaching, or consulting, and how to cultivate authenticity by integrating it consciously.

• You will learn how to design your own methods, exercises, and curricula. This is about creating professional content that incorporates blind type insights into workshops, leadership programs, and coaching models.

• You will explore the use of strategic storytelling in teaching. This is about crafting stories that reveal blind type patterns and inspire transformation, making your professional delivery more impactful and memorable.

• You will combine original Enneagram teachings with modern psychology. This is about integrating classical perspectives with current developmental theories to create a complete and practical professional framework.

• You will manage group and organizational life themes. This is about learning how the tension between primary and blind type expresses itself in collective patterns, and how to transform these into resources for sustainable development.

Your profile

This training is designed for coaches, trainers, consultants, and leaders who already work with the Enneagram or personal development frameworks. Before attending, it is expected that you have a solid understanding of the nine Enneagram types and their applications. You will gain the most value if you are actively working with individuals, teams, or organizations, and want to integrate blind type knowledge into your professional practice.

The book

This program is based on the book "The Enneagram and why your blind type matters" and it is the foundation for the training. The book and distribution of the book are not part of the price.
